Delete your account or data
You can delete your FanFlash account, or your data as a guest, directly in the app at any time. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
In the app
- Tap the profile icon at the top right of any tab (Matches, Leagues or Favourites). Settings opens.
- Tap the account card at the top. It shows your email address, or Guest.
- On the Account screen, tap Delete account. As a guest, it's called Delete my data.
- Tap Continue, then confirm with Delete for good. As a guest, you confirm once with Delete for good.
What is deleted
Deletion happens immediately and completely. We delete:
- your account and all linked sign-in methods (email, Apple, Google), including your email address
- your favourite teams and leagues
- your notification settings and match bells
- the push registrations of all your devices
- all access keys, so every device signed in to the account is signed out
- if you signed in with Apple: we also ask Apple to end FanFlash's access to your Apple Account
What remains for a short time
- We keep database backups for 14 days. After that, your data is gone from them too.
- Server logs containing IP addresses are deleted after 14 days.
We keep nothing beyond that.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your data on our server. An account stays until you delete it. Guest data is deleted automatically after 12 months without use, or after 30 days if nothing was saved.
No access to the app?
Write to info@getfanflash.com from the email address linked to your account, using the subject “Delete account”. If that isn't possible, for example because you hid your address with Apple, tell us how you sign in and we'll find another way to confirm the account is yours. Once confirmed, we delete it, usually within a few days and at the latest within one month.
Guest profiles have no email address we could use to identify you. If you no longer have the app, your guest data will be deleted automatically as described above.
Was gelöscht wird
Die Löschung erfolgt sofort und vollständig. Wir löschen:
- dein Konto und alle verbundenen Anmeldewege (E-Mail, Apple, Google), einschließlich deiner E-Mail-Adresse
- deine Lieblingsteams und -ligen
- deine Benachrichtigungseinstellungen und Glocken
- die Push-Registrierungen all deiner Geräte
Was noch kurz bleibt
